Cultural Experiences Not to Miss
Bhutan’s vibrant festivals are a vital expression of its spiritual life, many of which celebrate Guru Rinpoche, the 8th-century saint who brought Buddhism to Bhutan. These events, rich with color, music, and masked dances, offer deep insights into Bhutanese traditions. Bhutan is also celebrated for its exquisite arts and crafts, particularly its hand-woven textiles, intricate paintings, wood carvings, and traditional sports like archery, which is Bhutan's national sport and a fascinating spectacle for visitors.
