Itinerary

Day 1
Guwahati Arrival – Dirang

Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your scenic drive towards Dirang. En route, visit the sacred Bhairavkunda and continue your journey via Bhalukpong, the gateway to Arunachal Pradesh. Surrounded by lush forests and beautiful mountain landscapes, enjoy the picturesque drive before reaching Dirang in the evening. Check in to your hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner, and relax with an overnight stay.

Day 2
Dirang – Tawang

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards the beautiful town of Tawang. En route, witness the breathtaking beauty of Sela Pass (13,700 ft), admire the crystal-clear Sela Lake, and pay tribute at the historic Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Continue through the mesmerizing Himalayan landscapes before reaching Tawang. Check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in Tawang.

Day 3
Tawang Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the cultural and historical attractions of Tawang. Visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India, followed by the impressive Giant Buddha Statue, offering panoramic views of the valley. Later, visit the Tawang War Memorial, dedicated to the brave soldiers of the 1962 Indo-China War. In the evening, witness the captivating Light & Sound Show at the memorial. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Excursion to Bumla Pass & Madhuri Lake

After an early breakfast, embark on an exciting excursion to the Indo-China border. Travel by Union Taxi to explore the breathtaking Bumla Pass, one of the highest motorable mountain passes in India. Visit the serene P.T. Tso (Pankang Teng Tso) Lake and the picturesque Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake), famous for its stunning natural beauty and its appearance in the Bollywood movie Koyla. Return to Tawang by evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5
Tawang – Bomdila

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Bomdila. En route, stop at the spectacular Nuranang Waterfall (Jang Falls), one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Arunachal Pradesh. Drive back through the scenic Sela Pass and visit the peaceful Dirang Monastery before continuing to Bomdila. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax with an overnight stay.

 

Day 6
Bomdila – Guwahati Drop

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati, enjoying the final views of the Eastern Himalayas along the way. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of your Tawang adventure.
