Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Bagdogra

Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative who will assist you with your transfer to Bhutan. Enjoy a scenic drive to Jaigaon, the last Indian border town, before crossing into Bhutan through Phuentsholing. Complete the required permit formalities and check in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and relax after your journey.

Day 2
Phuentsholing to Thimpu

After breakfast, begin your drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The journey takes you through picturesque mountain roads, lush forests, waterfalls, and charming villages. En route, stop at the Chuzom Confluence, where the Paro and Thimphu Rivers meet. Upon arrival, visit Simply Bhutan, an interactive cultural museum that offers an insight into Bhutanese traditions and heritage. Later, check in to your hotel. If time permits, you can explore the local markets or take a walk around Thimphu, the world's only capital city without traffic lights.

Day 3
Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass

Enjoy breakfast before checking out from your hotel. Visit the magnificent Buddha Dordenma Statue, which overlooks the Thimphu Valley, before continuing towards Punakha via the beautiful Dochula Pass. Take a short break to admire the panoramic Himalayan views and visit the famous 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. On reaching Punakha, check in to your hotel and later visit the impressive Punakha Dzong, beautifully located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu Rivers. End the day with a walk across the famous Punakha Suspension Bridge, offering spectacular views of the surrounding valley.

Day 4
Punakha to Phobjikha Valley

After breakfast, visit the sacred Chimi Lhakhang, popularly known as the Temple of Fertility. A pleasant countryside walk leads to this revered monastery, where couples often come to seek blessings. Later, continue your journey to the scenic Phobjikha Valley, one of Bhutan's most beautiful glacial valleys, known for its peaceful landscapes and natural beauty. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing amidst the serene surroundings.

Day 5
Phobjikha Valley to Paro

Wake up to the tranquil beauty of Phobjikha Valley and enjoy breakfast before driving to Paro. The journey offers breathtaking mountain scenery and picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the remaining day at leisure. You may choose to explore the charming streets of Paro, visit local cafés, or shop for traditional Bhutanese handicrafts.

Day 6
Paro Sightseeing – Tiger's Nest Monastery

After breakfast, prepare for one of the most memorable experiences of your Bhutan trip. Drive to the base of the hiking trail leading to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger's Nest. Trek through beautiful pine forests to reach this sacred monastery dramatically perched on a cliff nearly 900 metres above the valley. Spend time exploring the monastery, soaking in its peaceful atmosphere, and enjoying the spectacular views before returning to Paro.

Day 7
Paro to Siligur

After breakfast, begin your return journey towards India. Drive back through Phuentsholing while enjoying the scenic Himalayan landscapes one last time. Reach Siliguri by evening, check in to your hotel, and relax after the long drive.

Departure from Bagdogra

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bagdogra Airport (on your own) according to your flight schedule. Your memorable Bhutan journey comes to an end as you depart with wonderful experiences, breathtaking memories, and the warmth of Bhutanese hospitality.

  • Any additional expenses incurred due to natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances, including landslides, road closures, adverse weather conditions, or other force majeure events. Such costs shall be borne directly by the traveler.
  • Any services or expenses not specifically mentioned under the "Package Inclusions".
  • Additional charges arising due to changes in tourism regulations, entry requirements, or travel and trade policies between India and Bhutan.
  • Any extra cost incurred due to flight delays, cancellations, rescheduling, or changes in airline schedules. While we will make every effort to minimize the inconvenience, such expenses are beyond our control and shall be borne by the traveler.
