A bike expedition to Spiti can give you the feel of riding through the passes of Leh Ladakh, as this place is popularly called the mini version of it! As you begin your journey to Spiti from Manali, you travel through the popular Rohtang Pass located in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. This ride will feed your appetite for thrill and vast soul-satiating panoramas. As you leave behind the chaos of cities, Spiti Valley will happily embrace you into a zone of peace and love. Soak in the holy vibes at Key Monastery, which is an important place of pilgrimage for the Buddhist population residing in Spiti. Explore the long-lost stories in the fossils of Langza Village and witness the grandeur of the golden statue of Buddha. Itinerary
Day 0
Delhi to Manali
- Get ready to be departed from Delhi by Evening.
- Reach Manali next morning by an overnight Volvo.
Day 1
Manali to Jibhi
- We will reach Manali in morning around 8:30 AM.
- The Spiti Bike Expedition journey starts from here.
- Arrive at Jibhi/ Gushaini.
- Dinner and Overnight Stay At Jibhi/ Gushaini.
Day 2
Jibhi to Sangla
- Long ride through the scenic beauty of Kinnaur via Narkanda and Rampur.
- Stop at the iconic Kinnaur Gate for group photography and continue the journey via the impressive Karcham Dam.
- Arrive in Sangla and check in to your accommodation. Overnight Stay and Dinner in Sangla.
Day 3
Sangla to Nako/Tabo
- After breakfast, relax for a while and check out.
- Chitkul, the last Indian village near the China border.
- Explore the village and enjoy the scenic views.
- Then head to Tabo via Khab Sangam, the beautiful confluence of the Spiti and Sutlej Rivers.
- On the way, visit Nako Lake, a peaceful high-altitude lake surrounded by mountains.
- Reach Tabo by evening. Check in, have dinner, and stay overnight.
Day 4
Nako/Tabo to Kaza
- After Breakfast, spend some time at leisure and check out.
- Head towards Nako Lake then Head Towards Tabo and spend some peaceful time at the beautiful Tabo Old and New Monastery and know different stories by the Monks.
- After exploring Tabo, head towards the oldest Monastery of the valley i.e. Dhankar Monastery.
- Time to head towards the beautiful administrative town of Spiti Valley, Kaza.
Day 5
Langza | Hikkim | Komic & Key Monastery
- After Breakfast, spend some time at leisure. Head towards Langza i.e. a high- altitude village known for ancient marine fossils.
- Collect some fossils to take memories of nature home. After Langza head towards Hikkim i.e. At 4,400m above sea level.
- It is known for being the home of the highest post office in the world. You can send postcards to friends and family.
- After Hikkim, visit Komic Village i.e. a destination where you would see how heaven meets earth.
- It is World's Highest motorable village and situated at a height of 18000 ft above sea level.
- Visit the spectacular Tibetan Buddhist Key Monastery located on a picturesque hilltop at an altitude of 4,166 meters above the sea level.
Day 6
Kaza | Chicham Bridge Chandra Taal Lake
- After Breakfast, head towards Chicham Bridge i.e. the highest bridge in Asia which allows you to have panoramic views.
- Then reach Chandrataal by evening via Kunzum La and Losar and have one of the best sunsets ever by the moon lake. Followed by an overnight stay.
Day 7
Chandrataal - Manali - Delhi
- After Breakfast at Chandrataal stay leave for Manali via Atal Tunnel.
- Leave for Delhi once you reach Manali with amazing memories and new friends.

- 5% GST, if applicable.
- The package doesn't include the cost of any form of insurance, rescue, evacuation, hospitalisation and entry tickets.

- Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in Package Inclusions.
- Any Airfare / Rail fare other than what is mentioned in “Inclusions” or any type of transportation.
- Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
- Additional Costs due to Flight Cancellations, Landslides, Roadblocks, and other natural calamities.
- Any other services not specified above in inclusions.
- Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks etc. (to be borne directly by the customer on the spot)
- Any damage to the bike except engine damage must be borne by the client.
- Note: INR 10,000/- needs to be submitted as security for the bike before the start of the trip. Any damage to the bike, except engine damage, has to be borne directly by the client.

Can we go to spiti by bike?
On a bike trip to Spiti Valley, you will get plenty of such spots especially between Sangla – Chitkul, Nako – Tabo – Kaza, etc.. There is a limit to the amount of time you can keep yourself concentrated. Plus, always remember that what matters most is the journey, not the destination.
Which month is best for spiti bike trip?
The summer months of March-June are considered to be the best to visit Spiti not only due to the pleasant weather but also fewer crowds. For that perfect winter vacation, the months of October-February are the best time to visit Spiti.
What Is the best route for spiti Valley?
If you're coming from Delhi then consider the Delhi to Kaza by road route via Shimla being the best one as it contains the best scenic views and is a little bit longer. It makes up for a good road trip if this factor is taken into consideration. The Shimla to Spiti valley distance is counted up to be a total of 413 kilometers.
